Here’s the first installment of my weekly meal plan series, where I share what I’m making for my family this week.
This week, I went to the store without a meal plan. Somehow, the weekend got away from me and I didn’t plan like I usually do. I hate that!
I went to BJ’s and got a pack of ground beef, since I knew we could use it for a bunch of different things. I use the meatloaf recipe from Sylvias’s Cookbook. I like to add a little milk to make it extra moist (I found this tip somewhere else).
I broke yet another huge rule, and I went shopping while hungry. Bad move! I bought a bunch of Boar’s Head lunch meat to pack for me and the kids. The pastrami turkey is delicious!

As always, I used my digital planning sheets in Goodnotes. Can’t get enough of this combo!
